As Conference Chair for PM2026, I, along with my Vice Chair, Dr. Chelsea Isom, am thrilled to invite you to register for our upcoming conference, taking place May 14–17 in Baltimore, Maryland!
This year’s theme, “Securing the Future,” brings together leading experts who will share practical insights on how we can strengthen the future of our specialty, the systems that support our work, and ultimately, the health of the nation.
The theme underscores the urgent need to balance immediate challenges with long-term strategy—across funding, policy development, education and training, research and innovation, and cross-sector collaboration—to ensure our preventive medicine workforce and programs remain resilient in a rapidly changing political, social, and economic landscape.
At PM2026, we’re excited to bring back several of our most popular activities while introducing new opportunities to grow and connect.
A highlight this year will be our Career Development and Advancement focus, designed to support professionals at every career stage. This initiative will be led by Dr. Malika Garg, Membership Engagement Liaison, in partnership with the Membership Committee, Early Career Physician Section, and Resident Physician Section.
Given Baltimore’s rich cultural and artistic heritage, our Social Engagement Liaison, Dr. Sumana Kondle, is planning engaging opportunities to explore the local scene—encouraging wellness, connection, and community among attendees.
Whether you’re attending your first ACPM conference or returning as a long-time participant, you’ll find something new, inspiring, and memorable. ACPM 2026 will be a time to learn, reconnect, and reenergize—because as a specialty, we are stronger together, and the time to secure our future is now.
Click here to register today. We can’t wait to see you in Baltimore!
