The American College of Preventive Medicine (ACPM) coordinates the development of preventive medicine practice statements to outline the College’s perspective on critical health care issues. We provide a path to answers when clear guidance for preventive medicine practitioners and other health care professionals may be necessary. Our organization has compiled a list of position statements to serve as helpful resources for our members.

All position statements undergo extensive evidence review and consideration by multiple committees of the College. Many statements undergo a further review process for publication.
