Preventive Medicine 2025 has come to a close, and I want to extend my sincerest appreciation to each and every one of you for joining us! Each day offered inspiration — filled with insightful discussions, innovative ideas and great opportunities for attendees to connect. Hopefully, you’re returning home safely and are inspired to continue “Moving the Needle for Preventive Medicine and Public Health”.
The final plenary session of PM2025 featured an engaging presentation from April Kyle, President and CEO of Southcentral Foundation’s Nuka System of Care in Anchorage, AK. Ms. Kyle gave attendees a picture of Nuka’s community- and relationship-based system of care, which truly embodies the spirit of preventive medicine and PM2025’s theme.

To close the conference, outgoing ACPM President Mirza Rahman offered farewell remarks before passing the gavel to incoming President Dr. Ryung Suh, who offered his inspiring vision for the future of the College. Awards Subcommittee Chair Dr. Wilnise Jasmin and Membership Committee Vice Chair Dr. Tina Singh led the morning’s awards ceremony and welcomed the new class of Fellows. Congratulations to all our members for their efforts to advance the field of preventive medicine!
