ACPM Advisory: A New Partner in Prevention

We are excited to announce the launch of ACPM Advisory (Advisory), a new, mission-aligned professional services subsidiary of the College. Advisory exists to ensure that the expertise of ACPM’s physician community is not only recognized but also mobilized to help shape and lead preventive health initiatives in high-impact, real-world settings. For members, this means new pathways to contribute knowledge, shape national conversations, and participate in work that extends far beyond any single patient encounter.

At Advisory, we believe that moments of dramatic change create the greatest opportunities to lead. For those ready to embrace the challenge and help shape the future of preventive health and population well-being, our goal is to make Advisory a valuable extension of your ACPM membership.

As a membership benefit, all ACPM members with active status will be included in the ACPM Expert Network (with the option to opt out if desired) and considered for initiatives and projects based on area(s) of expertise and level of experience. The Expert Network is organized around a three-tier engagement approach.

  • Tier 1: Senior Advisors – Physicians and professionals with deep national experience, prior federal or enterprise-level leadership, or recognized authority in preventive medicine or federal health domains; members who can advise agency leadership on complex policy and system-level initiatives or serve as principal experts for Advisory projects.
  • Tier 2: Core SMEs – Members with established professional experience delivering programs, analysis, training, evaluation, or clinical/public health work who can contribute as part of project teams on a part-time or full-time basis, support curriculum development, implementation, applied research, quality improvement, or operational advisory work.
  • Tier 3: Project Staff – Residents, early-career physicians, and members building experience in preventive medicine or federal health priority areas; members seeking exposure and defined project roles, contributing research, synthesis, facilitation, data support, and pilot delivery activities under guidance.

You will be hearing more about the launch of Advisory in the months ahead.  In the meantime, we encourage you to be responsive to future member data calls that will enable the team to match your expertise and experience with the right opportunities.
