(WASHINGTON, D.C.) The American College of Preventive Medicine (ACPM) applauds the Senate confirmation of RADM Erica Schwartz as the 21st Director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Board-certified in Preventive Medicine, Dr. Schwartz joins the ranks of Preventive Medicine physicians appointed to lead the CDC, including Drs. William Foege, Jeffrey Koplan and David Satcher.
