With a goal of serving as the academic open access repository for high-quality prevention evidence across the global spectrum of health, the American College of Preventive Medicine (ACPM) and the Association for Prevention Teaching and Research (APTR) are excited to launch AJPM Focus as their official open access journal. The inaugural editorial board has just been selected.

Aligning with AJPM Focus’ emphasis on inclusivity in people, methods and outcomes, almost 70% of the 52-member editorial board self-identify as members of underrepresented groups. A similar proportion are also early- or mid-career researchers and practitioners, including several students and residents. AJPM Focus is helmed by Yuri T. Jadotte, MD, PhD, MPH, FACPM.
