In an ever-shrinking world, the role of preventive medicine physicians is becoming increasingly global, and the Global Health Special Interest Group (SIG) works to engage ACPM members in dialogue exploring issues in global health. Drawing on members’ wide range of experiences, this SIG seeks to:

  • Develop and disseminate educational materials for colleagues with an interest to work in global health.
  • Foster and facilitate career growth in global health.
  • Promote the value of preventive medicine in global health and share important work at conferences and in academic journals.
  • Build a community of mentors and learners that will continue to propagate important work in global health.
