Claire Gugerty Program Manager, Programs and Grants

Claire Gugerty works as a Program Manager at ACPM. Claire supports the Programs and Grants team through managing projects addressing diabetes prevention and brain health with funding from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). For the past two years, Claire worked at ACPM as a fellow through the CDC Public Health Associate Program (PHAP). Throughout her fellowship, Claire contributed to numerous projects related to chronic disease prevention and health promotion, with a focus on population social determinants of health. Claire earned a BS degree from Virginia Tech in Human Development and a double-minor in Public Health and Psychology. Claire is an enthusiastic and dedicated public health professional with research and advocacy interests in infectious disease prevention and health promotion related to women’s health.
