President
Samuel Peik, MD

 

Sam is a resident in Preventive Medicine at the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research, with a subsequent residency planned in Occ/Env Medicine at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences.  He completed an internship at Madigan Army Medical Center in Ft. Lewis, WA, and will soon finish his MPH at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.  He is originally from Iowa and graduated from undergraduate and medical school at the University of Iowa.  He is also an active duty officer in the U.S. Army.  His interests include health policy, military health, and employee health.
 

 

Executive Vice President/Secretary
Jordana Rothschild, MD, MPH
 
Jordana is a resident in Preventive Medicine at Stony Brook University Medical Center.  She graduated from Tel Aviv University Sackler School of Medicine, and completed her MPH in 2006 at Columbia University.  She was born and raised in El Paso, Texas.  She now lives in Plainview, NY with her husband and two-year old son.  She is interested in environmental health, immigration, minority health, and global health.


 

Secretary/Treasurer
Christine David, DO
 

Christine is a second year Preventive Medicine Resident at the University of Massachusetts.  This will be her second year serving on the RPS Governing Council, previously as Vice President of Extramural Affairs, and currently as the Secretary/Treasurer.  Her interests include exploring issues involving the maternal-child health population as well as developing policy for vulnerable populations in the work force.  Following completion of residency at UMass, she will be continuing her training at the Harvard School in Public Health for Occupational and Environmental Health Residency.

Charles M. Preston, MD
 

Charlie is a resident in Preventive Medicine at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and completed an internship in Internal Medicine at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix. He was born and raised in Arizona. His interests include health policy, advocacy, politics, and development.

 

Vice President for Membership and Recruitment
Clarence Lam, MD
 

Clarence is a resident in Preventive Medicine at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.  He graduated from the University of Maryland School of Medicine and completed an internship in Internal Medicine at the Greater Baltimore Medical Center.  He was born and raised in Pennsylvania.  His interests include health policy, management, biodefense and public health preparedness, and advocacy.
