The ACPM Board of Regents
created a Code of Ethics Committee to
prepare a Code of Ethics for the American
College of Preventive Medicine members.
The Code, which received comments from the
ACPM membership via email and in-person
meetings at Preventive Medicine 2009, was
approved by the ACPM Board of Regents at
the July 30th meeting. The
Board of Regents approved the
implementation process for the Code at the
September 9, 2009 meeting. The Code is
now awaiting the approval of the ACPM
membership. All ACPM voting members,
Affiliates; Associates; Members and
Fellows; will be asked to vote to approve
the Code, via electronic means, by October
9, 2009.
