Dr Stout currently serves as a Medical Director for Procter & Gamble’s Global Health and Wellbeing Business Unit.  Procter and Gambles health care business’s include pharmaceutical, Oral Care, OTC, diagnostic, MDVIP (prevention based primary care) and Pet health.  At Procter & Gamble, Dr Stout areas of responsibility include occupational medicine, pharmicovigilance (Safety Surveillance) and Medical Affairs.

Dr Stout formerly was the Medical Director for Preventive Medicine and Occupational Services at Kettering Medical Center.  Previously he served the United States Air Force in a number of roles including: IMA, Office of the Air Force Surgeon General, Occupational and Environmental Medicine Consultant, Senior Preventive Medicine Consultant and a Principal Investigator, Air Force Health Study.

Dr Stout has served ACPM on the Corporate Council, program planning committees, the Strategic Planning Taskforce, as Chair of the Young Physicians Section and AMA Young Physicians Section Delegate.  In addition to his service on the ACPM Board, Dr Stout currently serves as a Trustee of the American Board of Preventive Medicine, on the AMA Preventive Medicine Section Council and on the Board of Editors, Chemical Health & Safety.

Dr Stout received his B.S. from Andrews University, his M.D. from Loma Linda University and his Family Practice training at Hinsdale Hospital in Chicago, where he was chief resident. He earned an MPH from The Johns Hopkins University, School of Hygiene and Public Health and an MPH-HA from Benedictine University.  He is Board Certified in Family Practice, General Preventive Medicine and Public Health and Occupational Medicine.
